It has been a very crazy month for my partners, Addie, Carolina and Scott and as we just opened a law firm with our main office here in Fort Lauderdale and three in Miami-Dade. We practice in civil litigation, immigration, criminal defense, real estate (title insurance), employment law and family law and commercial litigation. It was a great decision to open a firm with these group of attorneys. I would not have done it with anyone else. I have known all of them since law school years ago. Addie and Carol speak Spanish fluently and I get by in Portuguese as my Wife is Brazilian. I left a nice sized firm (400 attorneys) to come and start this business and I feel great about it. <br /> <br />Tonight I am here with my sons. Ever since I got out of the Army Rangers I have taken them to see the boat parade. This is the first time I didn't have to put them on my shoulders to watch. The Fort Lauderdale boat parade is an annual event where boats with Christmas lights parade down the intracoastal.
