New Law Firm in South Florida!

Not sure how blogging works, so I guess I'll find out by writing here and seeing what happens. It has been a very crazy month for my partners, Addie, Carolina and Scott and as we just opened a law firm with our main office here in Fort Lauderdale and three in Miami-Dade. We practice in civil litigation, immigration, criminal defense, real estate (title insurance), employment law and family law and commercial litigation. It was a great decision to open a firm with these group of attorneys. I would not have done it with anyone else. I have known all of them since law school years ago. Addie and Carol speak Spanish fluently and I get by in Portuguese as my Wife is Brazilian. I left a nice sized firm (400 attorneys) to come and start this business and I feel great about it.

Tonight I am here with my sons. Ever since I got out of the Army Rangers I have taken them to see the boat parade. This is the first time I didn't have to put them on my shoulders to watch. The Fort Lauderdale boat parade is an annual event where boats with Christmas lights parade down the intracoastal. It was fun to watch from our office window.
